Need some help interpreting AIM. this is as much for my education on how to use AIM but also something I am in the middle of. Removed rear bumpers on my 1969. Attached images are of 69 AIM p299 (UPC 14 B1).
So...four bolts...two attached from external, two from inside. Inboard to outboard they are identified as schematic # 18, (none specified), 18, 7. #18 is GM# 9419077, #7 is GM#9419075 Starting from inboard the second bolt is neither shown nor identified but presumed to be same as the one in position 3 just outboard of it. Take a look at the notes at the bottom of the page.
What does all this mean? Are all four bolts the same? If so, which GM# or schematic number? Was 18 (two places) meant to change to 7 or vice versa?
Edit..just realize photo cuts off label of bolt in position 3 as #18. #18 bolt in the list of items is also that last item..presumably added to the list commensurate with the note?
Thanks,
Keith
