You can put your order in for 10 shirts. The official logo is a '73. If you look closely at the logo on the shirt it is a '73. Yep we used a '73 for the logo. The logo in the lower right is our first iteration of the logo. Here is a copy of the official logo.

Now this is cool!

This is really a great idea for regionals to promote and incorporate the "NCRS Celebrates the Year of 19xx" campaign." It limped into the national but its apparent the Lone Star gets it right...start at the Regionals and let it build to the national. If the organization wishes to grow by getting local members to bring out these cars...this is the ticket!. We know that many late-model C3 owners are reluctant to bring out their cars to an NCRS event...but this incentive, hopefully, will demonstrate the interest.

I hope other Regional pick up on this initiative and "pay it forward!"

As Bob stated the logo at the lower right is the first iteration - I assure you the logo embroidered on the button down shirt will be a '73.

Just a note folks, if you have a 1973 Corvette, bring it out to celebrate the Year of the '73 with us in Frisco. We'd love to have your car displayed along with our 70th Anniversary display and the 1965 Hemings Motor News Great Race competitor.

The Texas chapter is looking for some '73s to celebrate the Year of the '73. If you have a '73 and register for the regional, the Texas chapter will give you--the owner-- a button down shirt from the event. Ya can't ask for more than that--well you could ask for more but I don't think I could get our treasurer to agree to that! Quantities are limited so register soon.

Here's our current car count for the Texas Regional. We have a very rare 1967 L89 that will be attending for Flight Judging. We also have a very rare 1956 race car that will be on display along with other rare and low mile Corvettes. We're at 44 and counting for the Regional. I would expect more Corvettes will sign up.

Anyone who is holding a room reservation but has not registered for the event please register as soon as possible. We are in need of rooms at the host hotel and it is sold out. If you turn your room in after 26 September, we will not be able to claim it. There is another large group in the hotel and we cannot increase our allotment. We increased our allotment twice and they cannot give us any additional rooms. If you like you can contact my self or Joe SantaMaria and we can facilitate getting your reservation transferred to someone who needs it.
