    64 L76 AC questions

Guys looking at a car, 64 L76 with AC and I am lacking on knowledge in this area of detail. Can someone let me know if this is the correct fan for this car with AC, correct compressor and pulley?

    Thanks

    Larry,
If you're asking if the fan and the compressor are what was on the car when it left the factory then the answer is no.

Lawrence. looks like a 63 compressor with a foil label added. What is the VIN of the car? Is it a very early 64 car where a 63 compressor was used and a foil label added. What is the date on the back of the compressor? The fan does look awkward.

Agree, the fan does look very awkward to me as well. I would think a clutch fan should be on the car? Partial VIN is 107289

Here is another picture of the compressor and pulley. Pulley looks correct in diameter?

Agree with others fan is some sort of aftermarket, I would do some research on A/c compressor pulley Diameter and make sure it’s a deep groove pulley. I looked at the JM and the foil label looks original, compressor part number says part no.6550133/ pulley dia. Is6 3/8”

Seller reports that the pulley on the AC compressor is approximately 7.5" in diameter.
