    67 Gravity brake bleed

I recently gravity bled my brakes on my 67, primarily just to flush out old fluid. I am glad I did this apparently I had a little air in the system because I have a much better pedal now than before. I thought my pedal was fine before but much better now. The fluid that I drained out looked like tea was pretty bad.

system WITHOUT TAKING THE WHEELS OFF?? Need advice please>Larry

You have to remove the wheels to get to the bleeders. I used Dot 3 fluid in my car.

No you can't. To access the bleeders, the wheels must be removed. Also, don't forget there are two bleeders on each rear caliper...an inner and an outer.

I gravity bleed a little fluid out of each caliper every couple of years.

This procedure also would on C-1's I do it every couple of years. I found that the pedal is a bit firmer.
