    Protectoplate Pics

I’m considering buying a car and would like to compare the protectoplate I’m being shown to a known genuine example. Can someone post or email me some photos of a real ‘65 plate?

    Thanks,

Oh, there is a guy in Florida that does great repops.......and has for many years. One reason NCRS quit judging them.

                    Mike,
Several years ago I passed on a 65 Black/Silver 300 HP A/C coupe. It was a real car for sure but it had lots of beautiful looking paperwork. After studying it I found it was all fake. What a shame to take a beautiful real car and cloud it with fake paper.

I wasn't aware the PoPs were ever judged...when did they STOP judging them ?
it must have been prior to 2000 ?
                        thx,

IIRC, it was 2015 or 2016.

A POP is part of the glove box items being judged, it can be a reproduction or from another car. If I remember correctly, it made no difference if it belonged to another car, was blank, or belonged to the car being judged.
