I looked at the window sticker for my '64, it lists the Luby Chevrolet Co. address as 1212 14th Street in Denver. Delivered March 6, 1964.

Referencing the Denver Post historical files -- Luby Chevrolet was started in Denver in 1920 by Sam Luby. He was joined later by his 3 brothers who were Louis, Henry, & Joe in the operation of the dealership. Joe Luby bought out his brothers in 1956 and thus became the sole owner of the Denver Luby location.

Here's a Luby Warranty Plate with the dealer address from a '66 I owned. The first owner was vacationing in Denver and bought the car and licensed it in California. Oddly enough, the car did not have the required smog pump for California.

Tim, if not mistaken, smog pumps in California were not mandatory until 1967 and only certain hp engines.

Smog pumps were required in California in 1966 for all Corvettes delivered in that State aside from the L72.

Denver, 1953, three '53s getting delivered to their new owners. The aforementioned Joe Luby is on the far right standing next to car serial number 183 which is still in Denver, owned by NCRS member Don Hein. The numbers and whereabouts of the other two cars is unknown.
