Dual brake master cylinder install

Wanting to install 67 style duel master cyl. on my 65 Corvette. Of course first on the list was to order a complete
kit thru Topflight corvette parts. During my attempt to install the new rear 1/4 inch line as per instructions, came
across the problem of the spiral wrapped line impossible to place as instructed. Of course i have come to a standstill.
I myself see that it is virtually impossible to install without lifting the body off the frame.. am i missing something
that i can't see? Absolutely not enough room to pass between the floor pan and # 3 crossmember.

    Wally,

On the 63 here in the shop I removed the rocker panel and slid it in from the side. It was not horribly difficult, but it helped to have 2 people, with me under the car (on a lift) and my friend threading the line from the outside. We slid it in from ahead of the rear tire.

There is not enough room to slide it in from underneath.

Patrick, thanks for the input, the kit i ordered comes with a 2 pc. line that runs front to back, was not sure of the
access room to place it where the current line is running because of the bird cage over the frame rail . thanks again

Our kit had the same 2 pieces.
        It should work.
