As was argued in the zoom meeting, much more descriptive name should be given to the class of Corvettes that have been modified or reclaimed, pro-toured, pro-mod, etc. Modified Class would be much more self explanatory and fitting of the class of Corvettes...IMHO, of course.
Correctamundo, and so many benefits to changing that stupid name, unfortunately one person chose to conflate those fact and no-brainer decision with a red herring thrown in to distract and obfuscate the entire issue.

The copy rights belong to the NCRS, not Vinnie. He has intellectual control as the editor.

          Shannon,
Thank you for all the work you have done for all of us members, you will be missed, I believe the bar has been raised of what the membership expects from the NCRS president and the board.

Are we still going to continue to see the Board of Directors meeting via Zoom since we have a new president?

                    Re: NCRS presidency

I would like to get some facts out there to the members.
I am in my third year as Vice President and my eighth year on the Board of Directors. In the past year I have been working closely with Shannon since she has been President.
I share much of Shannon's vision for this great club. I fully intend with the help of the Board to keep moving forward with Shannon's and my ideas to improve the operations, structure and policies.
I will continue to have our Board meetings either live on zoom or recorded for playback with full transparency. To set the record straight, the Board has voted unanimously on almost all suggestions and changes Shannon has proposed. The bylaws have been updated and the Policy and Procedures will be implemented shortly.
It is not now or in the future a good ol boys Board whatever that means. This Board will encourage any and all suggestions that would better the club and going forward will not be "status quo".
The policies that Shannon quoted have all been adopted at the zoom meeting and the statement of going to jail is not accurate. No one ever has or will go to jail for a policy, especially one that is only recommended.
Again I wish to thank Shannon for her service and many hours of hard work and I wish her well.
I will continue to do my best to run and steer the NCRS to be the best Corvette Club and ask for patience as we transition and sort things out. Thanks to everyone for their posts and comments but at this time we are closing this thread.
                    Respectfully
                    Mark Tulley
