C2 Coupe Rear Harness Replacement

I will be replacing the rear harness on a 63 coupe over the winter.

Do I need to remove the headliner to get the new wire to the dome light?

Harry,

Not if you use the existing dome light wire to pull a good string down to serve as a way to pull the new wire back up to the light.

and if Gary's trick doesn't work, I think at most you'd have to remove (or pull down enough) the halo panel to gain access to the old wire...

Just went to the car. It's simpler than I thought, just need to be careful to avoid scratching anything.
