2006 Z51 Car Lug nuts

I have some lug nuts in shabby shape. I ordered a set of 20 from ZIP, they are nice but not even close to the same configuration.

Anyone have a recommendation as to who produces exact copies of the 2006 lug nuts?

I believe they're still available from GM under GM #19158920. However, it's possible these are a GM replacement. What do the originals look like?

Original is on the right. Got jammed in the socket. The socket that is suppose to protect the lug nut.

Amazing, I went to GM Parts Direct. $9.00 for two lug nuts and $67.00 shipping. Think I'll go to the Chevy dealership and see what they have.

Check with Dorman products I've had good sucess with lugs nuts from them.

Harry The Lug Nuts You Received Are A Cheap Chrome Plated Replacement Not Stainless Steel Capped Like Your Originals. Check With Your Chevy Dealer Who Should Have Outside Suppliers Who Have The Capped Version. When I Was The Buyer For The Dealership I Had A Great Source For Good Replacement Look Alike Nuts. The GM lug nuts of the aforementioned part number appear just like your originals. If your GM dealer does not stock them they should be able to order them for, at most, GM list price (about 5 bucks, each) and no shipping charge.

The Dorman replacement lug nut is of the original configuration. However, the original is of a 2 piece design with integral cap bonded in some way to the nut, itself. The Dorman maintains original configuration but is a 1 piece design. From a functional and durability perspective it's probably better than the original. However, I don't know if it's detectably different.

Harry I just checked gmparsgiant.com too. $97 shipping for 5. But.....

Looking at the specs. It shows "WEIGHT 26.4" (with no unit of measure)

I bet it defaulted to pounds. So your 2 lugnuts cost $67 to ship 52.8 lbs.

Probably give GM Parts Direct a call to get it corrected.
