61 Trunk Drain Hole

The drain hole in tire well of my 61 Corvette Has been glassed over. Can someone please give me the measurement of the hole that I need to drill? Also, is there a source for the translucent plastic flanged plug? Thanks! Mark

Hi Mark, I have a "62" and the drain hole is 3/8 inch in dia. If you don't know the location of the hole I can post a picture of my trunk.

The plug is not reproduced.

However, it is the same plug(by part#), used for the late 1966 and all 1967 used to plug the threaded reinforcement bracket weldnuts to mount the optioned shoulder harnesses(A85). The plug is removed and the bolt is threaded in to hold the harness.

I had 4 from 2 '67's I added harnesses to. Iirc, I'd given away 3 to 61/62 gents and may have 1 left. I'm away from the shop but will check when I return. But not for a while.
