Hi Leif,

Yeah, If Jack sends me the other data pieces from his earlier table, I can combine that info with what I've started...

As for Sticky or not, that's someone else's call.
If it is made into a sticky, should we get "Survey" or "Data Call" in the Title somehow so people know we're looking for input?
thx,
Mark
Mark, the '67 I have now has the last 3 of the VIN, the number hand written and circled on the tank sticker, and the number written on the lower body areas all the same. My previous one, the one where I posted the tank sticker here, had the VIN and hand written number circled on the tank sticker off by 502.< yes, I have that one in the table (10,714)
Hi Michael,

So we can get yours sequenced in with the others, would you be willing to share the last 5 of your VIN?

Talk about matching numbers; that looks to be a truly unusual example of that!
thx,
Mark

IMG_3084.jpgOK, VIN is 03243, 243 written and circled on tank sticker (I don't want to post the tank sticker, but it is NCRS validated), and this is what the back bulkhead says.....the other number is N03. The same numbers are also written on the passenger side outside floorboard area, but it is harder to photograph. Maybe, since this was a special '67, they took greater care to keep it in sequence?

Wow - order received 6-30-66 ~two months before production started for '67s...
I zoomed in on your Expected date of production and it looks to me like it's "09-30-66". Whatever it is, it probably had to be a September date because that's when the first fully-assembled '67s started rolling off the line.

As John Hinckley said, nobody knew why they pasted these on top of the gas tank - it's amazing how many of them have survived - and some with very good readability in all fields!
Mark,
NCRS shipping data says production date was 9/27/66

Hi Michael,

Thanks very much for your data...

No doubt plant management and inspectors were probably all over your car as it was built!

Except for the 1 and only other '67 N03, the sequencing of body panels and all the other N03 parts made these truly unique assembly exercises.
thx,
Mark

Don- I could be wrong, but that might NOT be your Job Number... from John Hinckley's article:

Then again, we do have some examples of the 'Numbers Matching'... which now can be used for a new meaning.

326BB.jpgYes, different things have been written on the back of the firewall. Here is a photo of my '66, it has a "BB" and the "326" body number. to the right of it (this 326 is also written on the back bulkhead and outside passenger side footwell). I think the "BB" in this case could have meant Big Block, but who knows. BTW, the VIN is 650 off from the 329.

Re: Tank sticker

I am coordinating with Jack Morocco on a few last issues, but have loaded all of his info into my spreadsheet that I posted earlier.

I have 41 St. Louis cars and 6 Dow-Smith (AOS) cars (47 total).

6 of those cars have paired data for both the Tank Sticker # and the Body Job # (as seen on at least one panel).

I will post all of them as soon as I hear back from Jack on an item he is trying to track down for me.
thx,
Mark
