    Fuel Pump for 1961

Looking for a rebuilt pump, does not have to meet NCRS identification standards. Looking for a rebuilder who can rebuild my current pump. Any recommendations for aftermarket fuel pumps.

oprginal 61 fuel pumps weren't crimped but rather easily disassembled and new guts inserted. 1'2 hour job at best. if you have the original AC 61 pump, i'd rebuild it with new internals. mike

Any thoughts on Carter M6900 pump? Inlet and outlet ports look like they can be reoriented to meet the positions I need although positions may not be exact.

Joseph,Here's a mistake that I see on rebuilt pumps. The kits come with a new Pin and C clips that hold the "blades" in place. The actuator blades.
I don't know the correct name for these blades. Not necessary to do this. Leave the original pin in place.
Buy a rebuilt kit that's for ethanol for your 4656 pump.

agree with john. i never remove the original pivot pin. besides if u do, the judges will catch the c-clip. mike

Thanks to all who replied. Still looking for a pump or rebuild kit. Also, is there any thing to do to prolong pump life while in winter storage?
