1963 Coil Spring Ride Height for A/C vs Standard

Does anyone have data on ride height and/or quality of the 3833319 springs for A/C C60 cars vs the 3832684 standard springs? # of coils is 7 for both I believe. I replaced the Z06 springs with what I believe were the 3833319 springs (they had the remainders of the white tags but part# was not distinguishable). It is not an A/C car.

    Thanks,
    Fred

Fred, My July 63 with A/C has springs 3832684 installed in the front. As long as I've been looking at 63, I've never seen a 3833319 installed on an A/C car. I know the AIM calls for one but.... I had the car flight judged at a National and the Chassis team agreed. They did not believe the 3833319 was installed on any A/C car in 63.

The same applies to the fan. The AIM calls for a larger diameter fan, but it's questionable if the were ever produced or installed in a 63 A/C car.

So, I can't help you on ride height.

Thanks Harry - too bad I can't see any numbers on the tag. I will measure ride height once I get the hood back on. I currently have 205/75 radials on it so I may have to take that into account as well.

      THanks.
