Due to circumstances beyond our control, the New Orleans Regional has a new Host Hotel, Hilton
Airport, 901 Airline Drive, Kenner, La 70062. Phone# 504-469-5000. Booking code is NCRS. Rate for the block is $139 night.
The block may be full by now, but rooms are still available at this hotel.

If you made a reservation at the Hilton Garden Inn, please cancel it or they will bill you when the time comes. I cant cancel your reservation at the HGI. They are not doing the repairs that are needed to make this place livable, but if you want the convenience of being next door to the Ponchartrain Center, you may still want to stay there. Please contact them to see if your reservation is still in place if you decide to stay there.

Sorry for the inconvenience, but we had no choice but to go elsewhere. This hotel has much more space and has been very accommodating and it is close to the airport and it is a short 5 mile straight shot from Airline to Williams Blvd to the Ponchartrain Center.

Yes. No parking fees at the Hotel or the Ponchartrain Center.

No shuttle services due to Covid restrictions. Hotel will provide shuttle for guests to and from airport but that is all at this time.

For members making reservations, please call the 504-469-5000 number to the hotel and use booking code NCRS. Those members using Hilton Honors are not getting the rate for some reason. You can asks for Honors points when you check in but online with Honors is not giving you the discounted rate.

Indiana Regional Update on cars
Flight: 54, 55, 57, 58, 60, 63, 64, 65, 66, 4-67, 2-70, 2-71, 7-72, 79 and 03.
P.V: 60, 67, 72, 91.
Bowtie Signoff: 70, 3 -72, 79.
Concours: 1965, 1990.
Bowtie Display: 68
Founders: 04.
Sportsman: 7.

I'm going to move your question back up to the sticky, to keep like topics together, but I just hung up with Cindy. She will pop into the sticky thread, and answer your question specifically, but in summary, her car count is very low. She and Maxie have been waiting for more promised cars to sign up. It's happening slowly. But she will answer today. She assures me that the meet is happening, they have over 120 members registered to attend, and it will be a great meet. Look for the answer on the cars registered to date later today..

Sorry for the delay in answering but here are some of the specifics that you requested.
AT THIS TIME, we have 10 flight cars, 6 PVs and 2 Concours
Flt: 54,58,59,63,65,67,71,82
PV: 67,70,72,79,95,03
Concours: 68,70

Yes, our car count up to this point is definitely below what we had anticipated, but I have been told by at least 5 other members that cars are being readied and will be entered in time. We are reaching out to chapters and individuals to see if we can improve our count, but for now this is it.

We can assure you this meet is happening and to date we have 84 registrations with over 120 members attending the Welcome Reception, which will be held at the Hilton Airport and will be another spectacular catered event with a Louisiana specialty of boiled shrimp, a non seafood entree, dessert and tea and sodas. Our bus trip into the French Quarter on Friday night only has a couple seats left and our awards banquet will be another tasty event not to be missed. We have made every effort to bring the members to our Regional and they have responded in kind and I can only hope that we get more cars before our deadline. Any questions can be directed to me as Show Chairman or Maxie as Judging Chairman
