    3461S Carter AFB Restorer?

    I need to have a Carter AFB restored for a 1963 convertible that is in the shop.

    Who is the current recommended restorer for these carbs?
    Chuck Smith?

    Thanks for any leads you may have.

      Patrick, I've used Eric Jackson with great results for years... also used Tom Zeeman and Phil in NJ over the years. Any three of these guys are top notch.

          I thought that Eric and Tom only did Holleys?

                      Eric Jackson was great to work with for a 1964 Carter AFB. Eric ran my carburetor on a test engine. It was ready to run on my engine with no adustments needed.

                          I suspect we will use him, as I've had a couple of issues with Phil's place several year ago.
                          I have yet to hear anything bad about Eric.

                              Hi Patrick and Merry Christmas.

                              As I think you know, I’ve relocated to Lake Norman North Carolina and have added a ‘63 Biscayne 409/425 to my stable. I had a guy here rebuild the primary (Carter) carb. He’s a former NASCAR team member and then NASCAR official. He came well-recommended. When I tell people here I had my carb redone, most say they hope I used Mike Butler. I did. He knows all carbs and can do as little as adjustments to complete restorations, including re-plating. PM me if you want his contact info.
