Did the AO Smith body build date start begin in August or September?

August for model year 1965. St Louis bodies were the same.......August.

However, I do not know the August numbers from each facility for convertibles and coupes.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think that one body assembly plant would start a month later (September) than the other.

FYI- When the last week of the month spans two different months, then the difference in start dates can be minimal... it just seems months apart. For example: In 1966, I've seen an A.O. Smith Trim Tags starting on 8-30-65 (A30 - Coupe Body #3)... while St Louis started approx 9-3-65 (A03 - Conv Body #16). Itz the SAME physical week... but encompasses two different months (if I explained that korrectly).
