I’ve been pretty lucky on finding tank stickers on my C3’s, my current ‘73 had it up top and it was in very good shape. I helped a friend replace the tank on his ‘76 and found it on top of the protective steel shield that was used for a few years. I found that to be a very bizarre item the first time I saw one.

Yeah...the factory did not have robots doing the work...thus randomized application.

Yes, Tom, I AM that old. I could have been in Flint for the first ones, but alas n+ot the case.

Great photos of the C 3s on the assembly line. I am guessing after 109,000 miles, the build sheet on my 1980 isn't pristine....
