I am installing new window channel in the door for the rear window run with new liner in my 66 conv.. Two questions:
1. what kind of adhesive should I use
2. when installing the liner, is seems to me that you need something the thickness of the glass to use as a "form" so the liner is glued in for a smooth path for the travel of the window.

Mel, I used DAP contact cement from the local Home Depot.I used my finger to smooth out, just know the contact cement dries quickly.and overlap the top about. 1/2 inch.

after applying contact cement to both the run and the fabric, I use a piece of plywood just a tad thinner than the fabric covered run. cut your plywood before using contact cement. mike mccagh
