    1966 power windows

I can't remember , and i really haven't had many power window midyears. ( dumb question ) does the key need to be "on " for the power windows to work . I currently have the hot wire plugged into the fuse box , so it has power all the time , so the windows operate all the time ,if the key is off or on they go up and down. Is this correct ???
    Thanks

Yes. So long as your battery is hooked up, they function. No key required.

Kind of a scary thing, if you would let young children alone in the car. It was changed in 1967

Easily changable at Fuse Box to only work with key on however.

I maybe wrong but does power window work on a circuit breaker?

As best as I remember I tied (spliced) the PW wire into a switched circuit.
