A great friend and fellow BOD in the 80's. We had many fun CORVETTE visits at NATIONAL events across the the nation. He is finally at rest. RIP my friend

Rest in peace, Bill. I met him while at Carlisle years ago and he helped me with some engine distributor questions I had. Bill was very professional and a super nice guy to me freely giving his advice and knowledge.

My best memory was when he and I disagreed about something, and of course, he was right. But there was no 'smack down', no arrogance, just a polite explanation and encouragement. Funny how something so small would register so long after. Huge admiration for Bill.

So sorry to hear of Bill's passing. I met him a in the early 80's at a Lake Erie event. He was always free with his knowledge and it was in abundance. One of the good guys in this hobby. He will truly be missed.

I can't remember when I met Bill...long time ago apparently. In 2003 I sold his 65 air coupe for him. And with Bill, there was no missing info about what it was. It was fun and educational to go to his home. Sad loss. I have attached this nice picture of him the day I picked up the coupe.

I did not know Mr. Clupper personally, but I certainly know of him and the huge contributions he made to the Corvette hobby. May he Rest in Peace.
