1955 deco clock

I recently had to disconnect my clock. Upon returning power, it wound fine but will not start running. I looked to see if there was a thread on this but couldn't find one. I thought there was a procedure needed to get the thing running if power is disrupted. Any thoughts? It was rebuilt and worked fine until just this past week.

I think you need to pull the knurled adjusting knob out, then let it snap back...

Yea, I tried that several times. I also thought I remembered something about needing to wind it forward 12 hours and that didn't work either.

Sounds like the contacts froze together. If that's the case the only solution will be to remove the clock and release/clean the contacts.

Don't take this personally, but do you have power to the clock?
