Is there a better photo of the oil pressure line connection on a '63 L84 than the one shown on page 105 of the 6th Edition, 1st Printing? Anybody?

Re: 1963 L84 Oil Pressure Connection
Loren, I have the best repro but it still has a couple of issues.n
What Dr. Mike is referring to is the "T fitting.
On the originals you should be able to put a 1/2" wrech on it. Replacement fittings (everywhere) are thicker.
What issue are you having Loren. I can snail you an print of the components, etc.
Not easy to install on the Corvette. No room to work.
My 63 FI car has the incorrect oil line. Does have the original fittings although I do have a leak.
I need to install the copper plated line.
By the way I see these copper plated steel lines advertised for '58 to '65. Totally incorrect. Only original for'63 to '65.
Don Baker and I have proof. John D- Top

Re: 1963 L84 Oil Pressure Connection
Mike/John - thanks for the responsel Local restorer working on a one-family owned '63 FI found out I had one that had been judged (Bend - 1981) and called. I remembered the discussion but not the details. (Let's see, my middle name is _____ - where the H___ is that driver's license when I need it?) Need a refresher course. See you in April, Mike.- Top

Member posted "64 L84 History Search" below, although it's a late 64 FI the oil fittings may be the same, ask him for a photo.
John & Mike can comment on correctness.
