Rebuilder for crimped style fuel pumps

Does anyone rebuild the crimped style fuel pumps specifically a 1969 big block pump?

Like Patrick recommended. Fred Ballard is the guy. In fact he has one of my fuel pumps right now. At this time I am waiting for him to complete it and return it dany day.

I need to do preventative maintenance on the fuel pump on my '67. It has been on the car since it was put on at the factory.

If you can find a replacement that isn't assembled incorrectly, let us know.

I sent Fred a couple of replacement pumps to try and rotate as well, to see if the manufacturing error can be corrected.
I have no idea why the factory that assembles them can't do it correctly.

                      John,

I suspect you found a "last one on the shelf."

As you, I purchased and returned at least 4, with a couple more I didn't return, trying to find a correctly oriented pump.
Based on my observation they all come from the same factory. Someone needs to call that factory in China and have them rotate the assembly jig to the correct position. I don't think that until the vast majority of pumps are returned that the US buyer/supplier will "get it."

So, I bought some original pumps and sent them to Fred so I have some that will fit in the years to come.
