    68 oil pan wire clip

I was told by a fellow member that this clip in the picture should be to the left 1 bolt. Just verifying this before I go to paint. Thanks, JeffF326CAD1-1537-4B3A-815D-30F2BB013436.jpg

Jeff, that is correct. The clip should be located more pan bolt over. It should be located at the lowest point of the side shield and the front two plug wires should be contained in the shield as they go up towards the plugs and the top of the motor mount.

Just to clarify: that spark plug wire clip was installed before paint, so were the distributor shield uprights; but the rest of the ignition shielding as well as the spark plug wires were installed at St Louis long after engine paint.
