Are you saying 8 o'clock for both sides, or 4 o'clock on one side and 8 o'clock on the other? And only the wing window; not the side glass?

I just thought they were installed randomly, or at least dependent on who installed them. Probably positioned to most easily lock the clip?

For my cars, I position the driver side handles to be out of the way of my knee while shifting and sitting, then position the passenger side to match.
