The UA6 alarm system was neutered by a previous owner but the horn, wiring, hood switch and relay/flasher bracket are all still in place. The rear taillight panel was replaced circa 1978 and the alarm switch was not replaced. Sourcing a new wiring harness and other missing parts is not proving to be problematic - except for the backing plate that supports the key switch. It appears on UPC UA6 - A4 in the AIM. Part # 3937672.
It appears to be nothing more than a steel plate about 3"x5" with a 13/16" hole drilled in the center. However, I have been unable to find a picture or example of this plate. Any information or pictures you have would be appreciated.
Thanx
