    Re: Dr. Rebuild Status?

I am certainly missing The Doc. I have had to order some inferior parts from other vendors while currently restoring my 70. He has many parts that are just not available from other vendors.

When I need certain parts for my Corvette, the good Doctor is my absolute "go to" source. I order online...no personalities to deal with. I'm not looking for a friend, just a guy who consistently delivers a first class product. JMHO.

I've picked up parts at his warehouse and its not an area I would care to take a stroll...

Used Dr. Rebuild both on-line and at Carlisle over the years - quality parts, prompt service, and never a problem.

Yes, Doc Rebuild has some hard to find parts. I've never met any of them, but I've stopped doing business after seeing the inappropriate shaming on the website about competitors and customers (including a friend and former member).

Good for you. Here's some additional reading on the subject from what other folks have to say: http://www.apatco.com/corvette/?p=1040

And I bought parts from him back in the 70's and early 80's ..............he is totally inappropriate in this day and age, who devotes web pages to attacking people for PERCEIVED injustices and brags about suing his competitors that have left him in the dust.

I hope the moderators close this thread now, there is nothing of value technically forthcoming at this point...

There are vendors I don't deal with because of price, quality or customer service issues, I could care less about their politics or personal foibles..
