turn signal issue

Hey guys, Having trouble with the turn signal.right side Only works if I hold the turn signal up. left turn works fine. Won't flash if I don't. does sound like an adjustment or do i need a new part?

Bruce,sounds like switch in column is acting up. They do make a repair kit for switch if needed.

Ed, already have a new switch installed? Do you think it could be the cancelling cam?

Bruce the cancel cam only returns arm to neutral position,is it a repro. Switch? Also check the connector under dash the pins have been known to slide out. Was the switch working normally when you installed?
