    restored 69 tach and speedo not working

    Guys,

    In my 69 4spd L 46 I'm restoring I had my tach and speedo restored. I've connected them correctly as far as I can tell by looking at the AIM. The connection to the trans and distributor I thought was pretty straightforward, and as far as I can tell they just "plug into" the back of their respective gauges. Nevertheless, neither is working at all. What could I be missing? I'm guessing the next step is to disconnect them from their gauges with the car running and see if the cable is spinning?

      I would check that the cables are locked in at back of the tach and speedo.

          They are both securely clipped in to the back and appear to be flush with the housing.

              what was the issue with your speedo and tach? I assume you got it figured out.
