EJ, is there a difference in the paint driver and passenger side? Sometimes shows on rear deck, especially on silver carz. Nice car! Steve

Steve-actually, the paint,on this car ,in my opinion anyway, is excellent,as far as coverage and match-maybe a tiger stripe on rear deck. my biggest complaints would be some of the panel fits and gaps-esp. the driver's door, and the windshield wiper door. There is also a few areas of obvious "repairs" that had to be done at the factory, since I picked up the car from the dealer the next day after it arrived at the dealership. You can see the bonding strips on the front fenders are visible, but not objectionable.I had the car judged at Bloomington in the early or mid 1980's, and the only things the judges found were scratches on the driver's seat back, and the L/H grille screws were "suspitious".I said-this is exactly the way the car was delivered to me ,and he said "Well, you should have complained, and made the dealer correct these issues. I always thought the criteria was "just as it left the factory". That is why I bought this car, and tried to keep it like it was when I took delivery, and not try to "correct " any of these quality issues.

It’s hard to beat a silver 69 with side mount exhaust, and the fact that you are the original owner just makes it that much better. If you don’t mind my asking, how many miles does the car have on it?
