My car happens to be late enough in the build series that it has the T3 with the logos at the bottom of the bulb. They're virtually impossible to find. Any suggestions on how to deal with this from a judging standpoint? Or a source for them?

Re: 1971 T3 Headlights
The easy way out is to use a set of the 68-71 lined triangle bulbs. I don't believe that any judge would deduct for these on any 71 no matter how late the build date late. These are readily available and far cheaper than the one year only 72 bulbs. BTW- I sent you an email.

Re: 1971 T3 Headlights
FWIW - My 71 was built 18 from the end and has a mix of low T3 and lined Triangle and received zero deduct at the 2019 Nationals. just don't buy repros with the DOT on the edge... that will get you some deducts.James A Groome

Re: 1971 T3 Headlights
My 71 30k mile car 148 from end of production had all four with the low T3. The car sat for a dozen years before I acquired it. I hooked a battery to it and promptly burned out two of the four. Found some in the box at Carlisle, and put a bead of silicone at the base of the contact before I fired those up.- Top
