If you are not going judging you may want to look a the availability of a brand new Holley. I put a brand new 3810 on my 67 a few years back and the car has never run better.

@john daly. no i want to keep the car as original as possible. i did at one point think about installing a/c but with factory parts. i now am going to restore it the way it was born. i know i may regret it on that hot summer day when i am driving around but the car is what the car is.

Michael, I doubt if anyone can actually bring those aluminum parts back to show condition again. I know if that was a fuel injection unit it would be history. Good luck though. John
