The more I remove emblems etc and take a hard look it appears over 70% of the car has been painted so I think that is end of survivor judging.
SO, the Top Flight journey is on, I am actively working to find 1 original seat and drivers carpet. A good vinyl repair guy should be able to repair the small area of the drivers door panel that is cracked. It will receive a proper paint job with jams left original. The hardtop has been in storage evidently because the paint is 100% original and I had a professional polisher buff it and it looks outstanding, perfect for color match too. I have done a lot of learning on my blue 70, had to redo a LOT of stuff I did wrong but that's OK. This one I will make fewer mistakes,
and IF I can get Top Flight this one will be DRIVEN I am open to suggestions, I will push for answers and opinions that's how we learn. 70 2 top convertible air, auto, tilt, PW ,PB 300 yellow with black vinyl interior all original docs from original lady owner that bought it new including window sticker Thanks for your help Bob
    Bob,

Al Knoch will make a drivers side carpet wth corn rows in the correct direction and without the dimmer pad. If the carpet you have has the original heel pad it can be relocated to the new carpet.

The SMS material is correct in every way but it will take a while for them to ship. If memory serves me the passenger and drivers side seat bottoms are interchangeable on a 70.

Jim, , Good to hear you yeah, just having a barrel to fun. My golf game sticks, it makes this seem like fun !
I wonder how many hundred of these old used seats and carpets we threw out of race cars ??? I was involved with the old '67 Coupe
painted up the Michelob beer colors, early 80's after buying the car the seller said "oh by the way I have all the original interior
that we pulled out of the car when it was a couple weeks old" BRAND NEW BAGGED black vinyl No idea who the seller was Cal Club somebody will remember- 427.
I made a left turn in turn 2 ( a big right sweeper) and put it just about all the way upside down, cost me a few dollars.
It had a L88 air cleaner and hood but who know what it really was originally- do you know who has that car now?
        Be good-
