Lower Fan Shroud

I purchased a new reproduction 4 piece fan shroud for my may built 58 a couple years ago and am finally getting around to installing it. In the Noland Adams book there is a pretty good picture of a 56-57 lower shroud mounted to the frame showing two bolts attaching the lower center section to the front cross member. I couldn't find anything for a 58. The shroud I bought does not have holes for mounting to the cross member. Should it have? The cross member does have threaded holes that looks to be where it would mount. If it does, what type fastener is used? Thanks for any help

58 does not mount to the crossmember.

I wanted to make sure before I drilled mounting holes.
