Is there any way to adjust the Ride Height or Stance without having to change springs on a 1958?

Are you trying to lower it or raise it? What springs do you have now? Original or aftermarket? Four or five leaves? Need a little more info. But yes there are ways. To lower it you could put lowering blocks between the spring and axle, probably require longer ubolts. To raise you could reverse the rear spring shackles or make longer perches. A photo and explanation of what you want to do would help!- Top

The rear just looks a little high so I want to lower the rear of the car. The four leaf springs are not original.Attached Files- Top

Easiest way would be to put one inch lowering blocks between spring and and axle and by the looks or your picture you could probably use the same u-bolts. They make those spacers up to 4 inches but you would need new u-bolts. Is this going to be a judged car? If so Mike's suggestion of finding original springs and have them done at Eaton axle would be the way to go.- Top
