yeah sorry to troll. I guess I'm just not a fan of any crossover really. This choice to call it a Mustang will either be a stroke of genius or... I guess we'll know a year from now

Re: Here's the last front engine Corvette

I'm confused. Below is an article from the NCM announcing the last C7, a white on red coupe donated to the museum by Ivan Schrodt, is now on display.
        https://www.corvettemuseum.org/final...red-at-museum/

The Road & Track article in my original post says the last C7, a black Z06 coupe, was auctioned.

Maybe Terry or someone else in the know can clarify.

The museum calls it the last Stingray, not the last C7.
It's the last "base" car, aka Stingray. The last C7 was the black Z06.
It's a technicality they're using to call it the "last" of something. It's really the second-to-last C7.

A Corvette "sub-brand" (whatever that is) that includes an SUV? Brought to us by the same folks who created the Aztec- the first car that looks better upside-down, and the Oldsmobile Diesel- the car that destroyed the reputation of an entire division.

A Corvette station wagon just dilutes the "sub-brand."

And doesn't GM make enough of those already?

I really don't think GM is going to make the mistakes Ford is making, too many real car guys and gals there. Remember Ford's new CEO comes from the office furniture business.......

And GM is not in the cash flow crunch that Ford is in right now. https://www.cnbc.com/2019/11/25/at-f...-for-cash.html

True, and this is a "nice" touch, obviously for the new buyers of the E-dsel, who don't know the difference......
