HPP Balanced and Surfaced Flywheel 365 HP 327 1965

Bought a '65 project that was worked on in Lincoln, Neb over 12 years ago. On the flywheel (black magic marker) it says "HPP BALANCED AND SURFACED". If you are in Nebraska, or not, please tell me who or what "HPP" means. I wonder if it might be a lead that helps me find a machine shop there.

Not sure if you can read the writing on the flywheel, but here is a photo.

I am thinking Tom, that HPP was a company that ''balanced AND SURFACED THE FLYWHEEL.'' If you pull it off the crank, the part number is on the other side.

Scoot Freese owns the Harold Sims 66 Race coupe with the proto type 427 L-88 . He also owns a 65 coupe with a ROCK CRUSHER trans. He lives in Omaha if you want to talk to him. He can help with this history.

Thanks Jim and Joe: I found Ron Bockerman in Springfield, NE (Nebraska, near Omaha). His shop is HPR for "High Performance Restorations".

This car was in his shop in early 2008. The photo below is from 2019, at Thomas Brothers in MI. First red paint since well before 2008, as it was black over orig. red at one time...

Ah yes, 2nd time around. If these cars could only talk. Nice to see it being ''refirbished'' as Bring a Trailer says.
