Don't know if this was already mentioned over here, so I thought I would...
Roy Braatz, longtime member, and a former member of NCRS, and a founder of Solid Axle Corvette Club, passed away on March 19th, at his daughter's home in Hawaii.
Roy, known to many as 55Copper because of his original copper colored 1955 Corvette, spent many years in the Corvette hobby.
One of Roy's claims to fame was his assertion that his "original" 1967 small block coupe was originally equipped from the factory with a big block hood (without the painted stinger). This car, incidentally serial numbered 194377S112345, generated lots of "discussion" around the hobby.
Rest in Peace Roy.
