Just wondering the best way to repair the new firewall grommet after replacing the engine harness ,rerouting it through the grommet.
I assume cutting the grommet makes more sense than cutting the new harness wires.

John, I think about the only way is to take a Razor blade and make a slice.

I just replaced my grommet when I replaced the harness. I sliced the grommet in the same spot that my original grommet was sliced.

Actually you don't have to cut either. Just remove the wire plastic connector's and put wires thru and re-install plastic connector's, no cuts no fuss I'm sure this is how the factory did it.
