    Also I believe in post #13 the brown wire on the right hand side plugs into the fan motor switch. The pig tail connector off of that same wire plugs into the capacitor that is located at the bottom of the instrument cluster near the ignition switch if it is still present.

      i see What would be best access approach for these plugins? pull radio etc? I have been under dash a lot-but never had to pull instrument cluster. I see it isn't a popular activity.

          Using AIM (awaiting DR Rebuild diagram), with input from all, its appearing more clear.

            Hi John,
            I found this in my library of AC data. I think your Y connector is found on page 16.
