    Will NCRS judging points be deducted for using Polly Nuts on rocker arm studs?

      The bigger problem is that most such nuts will cause interference with stock valve covers.

          Thank you Joe. I hadn't thought about clearance. After making a visual inspection and considering the dripers in the valve covers, I don't think the poly nuts will clear. Going to get a new set of lock nuts.

            Actually, the stock-type, prevailing torque lock nuts are the best bet for rocker arms. In fact, I wish they could be used on roller trunnion rocker arms.
