    Steering linkage. - tie rod to tie rod

    Should the distance on both side tie rod/adjuster sleeve/tie rod be the same? For example if one side has length of 16 1/2 should the other be the same. Or is a difference acceptable.

      It should be whatever it takes to get the car with the proper alignment (toe-in). Equal on both sides is a good starting point.
