Just because someone says they will pick up your car doesn't mean they actually will.

Dave, a number of us west coasters have used Tony Vierra, he is out of Sunnyvale Ca. I know all of us were very pleased with the transporter, his on time response, and the costs. He can be reached at (408) 221-4210.

I am a NW chapter member. I moved a 72 roadster, enclosed trailer, from New Jersey to Minnesota in the dead of winter. Couldn't get anybody. Called Roy Sewell, Beacon Shipping Logistsics, 774 452-1862. Email: reswell@bslusa. He got the car picked up in two days and delivered in three. They also have a website.

Tony Vierra gave me the reference to Roy Sewell. Tony doesn't go East. Super great for West coast. Good Luck.

Most carriers have set routes with slight variations. Some only run East-West, North-South etc. Finding one that services your area, especially if you're not on a regular route, can be difficult.

I recently used MONTWAY from Texas to New York State. They delivered a ZR-1 in a two car enclosed trailer. They were prompt and their service met my expectations.

Well afterquotes from everybody that was available, I ended up using Montway, who, as it turns out ,is who I used to ship my last car from Arizona to Washington, but had forgotten. I would highly recommend them, picked the car up on the first day I said it was available, kept in constant contact with me as they shipped it enclosed to Federal Way Washington. All for $1700.00. I flew to Seattle and picked it up yesterday, all original 69 L36 roadster, complete numbers matching drivetrain, one repaint in the original maroon, rock solid frame, tank sticker, still stuck to the tank after 49 years,so happy with the car!

Glad it worked out for you Dave. Sweet looking car. I did a search on Montway thinking I might use them in the future. Unfortunately, they are a broker and have many complaints from prior users.

I don't believe Montway is a broker, I could be wrong , but their depot in Fedeal way was filled with car carriers

Their web site states they have 15,000 carries network wide. I can assure you they are a broker. Regardless, I'm glad it worked out for you. I picked up a car from that same Federal Way lot. It's a common site used by many transporters. BTW, look up the owner and managers names of Montway. I sent you a PM.
