I ordered a hose and spring from Paragon and install took 5 min. I sprayed the hose with silicone type lubricant, turned spring in direction to wind it while inserting it. When the spring got to a point it would bind, shake the hose, and It should go in further. I got it compressed enough that I could take the ratchet end of a 1/4” drive extension to push it in further. Did this while stuck on a conference call.

The spring I got was a foot long or so, and no way it was going to be the full length of the hose.

But how far were you able to get the spring in? I’m able to get it in far enough to satisfy the judges but am I correct in assuming that from the factory the spring went the whole way? I’m just a little OCD and even if it would never be seen I’d like it to be just like the factory if it ran the whole way.
