Wern't the original pipes double wall tubing like all GM exhaust systems of the period?

            Re: C3 Exhaust Systems

Update: I ordered the system from Gardner today. They asked me to take pictures of everything I take off of the car (my system is original, rusty but original ) and they also want me to send some of the pipes to them. They particularly want photos of the clamps, which I plan to reuse if possible. I think they are in good shape. I now just have to find someone to re-chrome my tips. Would like to offer advice to me on what I should tell the people at the chrome place on how I want them done (to appear original)

I ended up ordering the aluminized system, I just cannot stand rust!

              Re: C3 Exhaust Systems

I just had some bumpers plated at R&D Finishing in TN and I had them do them with only Nickel - Chrome, No copper and I left instructions not to highly polish or ROUND off the edges or buff away the profiles, Stripped with electrical current no grinding - there are fine scratches/tooling marks left.
I am very pleased with the results...
