Has anybody delt with graygracy aka chicago carb on a rebuild job fro a q-jet?

Eric Jackson, Chuck Smith, Daytona Parts....there are too many choices to roll the dice on Chicago Corvettes aka Graygacy aka Mercer Carbs....
Having said that, I bought WCFB clones from CC before I knew about their reputation and i swear they were the best running carbs I've ever had....my dealings with them on alternators and a few other parts was abysmal and contentious...- Top

I used Cliff Ruggles on my 68 L 36 quadrajet with excellent results, quick and reasonable. Also Lars at v8fastcars@msn.com good luck. Whatever you do stay away from chicago corvette AKA graygracy- Top
