I've said it before, and I'll say it again...

I would not use him if he were the last Corvette parts vendor in existence.

Steve, I agree with Pat!!There are a lot of good carb rebuilders out there. Start a new post and add carb rebuilders at the end.

Eric is a great guy with a quality product. He is knowledgeable on OEM stamps vs. reproduction stamps too. We've done about 20 carbs with Eric.

Eric Jackson, Chuck Smith, Daytona Parts....there are too many choices to roll the dice on Chicago Corvettes aka Graygacy aka Mercer Carbs....

Having said that, I bought WCFB clones from CC before I knew about their reputation and i swear they were the best running carbs I've ever had....my dealings with them on alternators and a few other parts was abysmal and contentious...

Frank, I was told a at one time that Custom rebuilt carbs of NJ was rebuilding there carbs. I can't say for sure this is true.

They do not do carb rebuild in house. they send them off to a couple different well known shops.

I used Cliff Ruggles on my 68 L 36 quadrajet with excellent results, quick and reasonable. Also Lars at v8fastcars@msn.com good luck. Whatever you do stay away from chicago corvette AKA graygracy

I know Lars is a big Holley guy - didn't know he did Q-Jets too; if so -- also a good alternative...

Lars does great work to make thing run well, but I contacted him about a distributor rebuild, and he said he does not do NCRS restorations.
