The ship with my money has already sailed for the shocks; I got fronts and rears. But you are correct that the front are virtually impossible to read without something like a boroscope.
Too bad no one will take up challenge of making a closer to correct C2 air filter. I've heard a story of an correct NOS or early take-off filter selling for $5,000. A very good repro might be able to be priced in the few hundreds of dollars.
