1970 350 water pump belt

I have a 1970 350 engine, no ps or ac and the original belt is too loose
Water pump pully 3890419 CT
Crank pully 3850838 BG
correct belt should be gm 3941116

What part numbers are correct to so i have a belt that fits?

The GM #3941116 was a 3/8" X 35-1/8" belt. It was discontinued in 1975 and replaced by GM #9433723 which was a 7/16" X 35-1/2" belt. It was discontinued without supersession quite a few years ago. The 7/16" belt rides a little higher in the pulleys so it has to be a little longer to have equivalent fitment with the 3/8" belt. You should have no trouble finding a 7/16" X 35-1/2" belt in the aftermarket although a lot of these belts have gone metric now. Will it fit properly? That I do not know. But, if it does not, then your only option is going to be a Quanta reproduction belt and I've even heard of problems with those for this application. Unfortunately, since this belt has no adjustment it's got to be the EXACT length to fit properly.

Can you confirm if the pulleys are correct?
